Balloon gas and helium cylinder hire
Lighter-than-air gas in environmentally friendly refillable cylinders, from a small 3L for a party to L size for a season of events.
We supply balloon gas in refillable cylinders so nothing goes to landfill after your event. Pick the size that matches the number of balloons you are filling, keep the cylinder for up to seven days at no extra cost, then bring it back or arrange a refill.
Hire options
- Short term: keep the cylinder for up to 7 days at no extra charge.
- Long term: monthly or yearly rental, with trade discounts available by phone.
- Helium Club transfill: a 3-year scheme for anyone filling 1 to 80 balloons a month. Members get 15% off refills, cylinder top-ups, an upgraded inflator with gauge, and a rent-free period for the full three years.

Questions about this product
How many balloons will a cylinder fill?
It depends on balloon size. As a rule of thumb an 11" latex balloon uses about 14 litres of gas, so a 3L cylinder (around 0.3 m³) fills roughly 20 to 25 of them. Tell us your balloon count and we will size the cylinder for you.
Can I collect from Lisburn?
Yes. Collection from our Lisburn premises is the usual arrangement for cylinders. Ask about delivery for larger sizes.
